I was bored. I wanted a project to work on. Heavy WIP.

I started making a board game. It began with a single path route and an invisible dice roll to move around.

Now I have:

  • Combat system (Primarily lifted from my GTMK 2025 Game Jam project, A Long Climb)
  • Equipment
  • Relics
  • Spawning enemies (including boss monster logic)
  • Random map expansion on completion of each lap
  • A lot of nicer looking decorations so we aren't just looking at boxes
  • Tooltip popup if you hold right-click over something compatible with the tooltip (Tiles, Equipment slots, Shop items etc)
  • Physical dice rolls
  • Anvil to combine any 2 of the same item
  • Special Anvil recipes
  • In-game shop to buy equipment/boosts
  • Multiple dice sets (currently 3x of a D6, D8, D10 or D12)
  • Character customisation with unlockable skins (Rare chance when opening a chest in-game)

And planning to add:

  • More equipment
  • Non-test maps
  • More Relics
  • Different dicebag sets
  • Dice effects
  • Better terrain generation
  • Multiple tile types
  • Permanent character progression/tech tree
